Re-start an Employee

In NXSYS it is very easy to re-start a worker who is already on your instance.

Navigate to the worker profile, then under the General Info tab, you will see a Reinstate Employee button in the top right corner of the screen as shown below.  

When you click on Reinstate Employee, you will be presented with a pop-up window below. 

From this pop-up, Nxsys will automatically populate:

1. Populate the Re-Start date will be set to the current system date (but can be edited)
   
2. Clear the Current Employment YTD figures
   
3. Set the Tax Code and basis to the standard values (again these can be edited)
   
4. Allows you to populate any new P45 figures that you may receive.
   

When you click Confirm in the bottom right corner, the following actions will be performed:

1. Status - Changed from Inactive to Active
   
2. Date of Joining - Updated to the current system date
   
3. Date of Leaving - This date is removed
   
4. Leaver Reason - This is removed
   
5. FPS - New Joiner FPS is sent

Pension: If you have a pension provider linked by API, these values will be automatically synced. If you are managing your pension manually, you will need to ensure you update the worker pension dates.
