Pension Setup

Nxsys supports pension Auto Enrolment calculation in partnership with three providers 

  • SMART Pension
  • NEST Pension
  • NOW Pension

Smart Pension

Nxsys integrates directly with SMART Pension. Should you use Smart Pension for your company's Auto Enrolment duties, Nxsys can connect directly to your SMART Pension account to retrieve, update and submit pension data to SMART Pension. 

To setup Smart Pension

  • Open your company
  • Enable PAYE or Umbrella in the Payment Model sub tab
  • Click Save
  • Re open your company
  • Click on Pension
  • Select Smart Pension from the dropdown

 You will then be prompted to Connect to SMART Pension. Once connected, this will create the link between your Nxsys account and Smart Pension

Alert: SMART Pension only supports a Net Pay Arrangement calculation method.

NotesNote: API Pensions contributions are triggered automatically at the end of each period i.e. for weekly workers, submissions will be sent each weekend and for monthly workers, on the 5th of the month.

NEST & NOW Pension

Nxsys integrates via a file upload with NEST & NOW Pension. Should you use either of these providers for your company's Auto Enrolment duties, Nxsys can connect provide you with export files to upload to your respective pension provider.

To setup NEST & NOW Pension

  • Open your company
  • Enable PAYE or Umbrella in the Payment Model sub tab
  • Click Save
  • Re open your company
  • Click on Pension
  • Select NEST/NOW Pension from the dropdown
  • Fill in all the settings 
  • Click Save

Notes
Note: For NEST & NOW pension, the system doesn't automatically update information. It is your responsibility to update all pension information for all your employees and also upload your pension contributions to your respective provider.
