NXSYS Pension Setup

NXSYS has the ability to connect to various Pension providers in the UK who have an API and automatically sync contribution data.

If your company pension provider supports automated submissions, please connect NXSYS by entering your details in Company Settings.

Navigate to Companies tab on the menu to the left, then from the Actions section select the 'Eye' icon to view that companies details as shown below.



Now select the Pension tab from the menu on the left which will shown the screen below. You will now be able to select you Pension Provider from the drop down and enter your details.



Now Pension
Please select Now Pension from the dropdown and complete the field to your requirements. Please ensure your Postponement Period is set accordingly.

Alert: There are specific formats required for certain fields. which if not followed, could cause an error when attempting to export a pension file.
  1. Employer Code - this is an alphanumeric field with a maximum of 4 characters
  2. Scheme Code - this is a numeric field with a maximum of 3 characters

SMART Pension
NXSYS has an API link with SMART which will automatically sync your contributions and worker data. To connect NXSYS, please select SMART from the drop down, you will now see a new menu as shown below. Please click the Connect button which will open a new window and ask you to sign into you SMART Pension account.



Once connected, NXSYS will automatically communicate with Smart to auto-enrol your employees and submit contribution data directly. It will also pull through your pension scheme settings from SMART like postponement period etc, so you do not need to fill these out on NXSYS.

Show you wish to switch pension schemes, you may remove your connection by clicking the Disconnect Pension button as shown below.



Note: API Pensions contributions are triggered automatically at the end of each period i.e. for weekly workers, submissions will be sent each weekend and for monthly workers, on the 5th of the month.
